I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the Norwegian Business School (BI). I am currently a visiting Research Associate at the Weatherhead Center at Harvard University. Previously, I was a visiting scholar at Stockholm School of Economics and Bruegel Institute, an EU Fellow and a senior economist/data scientist at the Norwegian Tax Authority.
My research is focused on financing entrepreneurship and innovation, and entrepreneurial strategy. In brief, I study how founders, firms, funders and financial intermediaries (4Fs) shape decision-making, and entrepreneurial/innovation strategy.
So far results of my research have been published in Entrepreneurship, Theory and Practice and Small Business Economics.
I currently teach Innovation Strategy and Technological Change, and Machine Learning for Business at BI, and previously taught on startup financing and econometrics. I am an adhoc reviewer for Review of Economic Studies, Small Business Economics, Academy of Management, among other journals.
